John Major (Sr.) started the company in 2004. After working for many of the major factory dealerships in Chicago and Milwaukee, he chose to set out on his own. What he found was a niche market between those brick and mortar dealerships and auction or wholesale sellers. Since its founding, Chicago Forklift has thrived. With a solid base of local and national customers, we have grown every year! In 2011, John Major Jr. joined his father in the family business. He had previously worked for Chicago Forklift as an intern while attending the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. After graduating with a B.S. in Finance in 2007, he moved to California and worked for Toyota Material Handling Northern California. Finally, Matt Major rounded out the family business in 2012. He also graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. If you're looking for a new or used piece of equipment you've come to the right place!
